"Helpful, but the hesitation felt avoidable"
Our crew definitely felt safer using it, which was a big plus. That said, it still took a little while for everyone to fully trust it. Some of that hesitation felt avoidable with better upfront training or a clearer walkthrough, but overall it did make the team feel more secure...

"Handy to Have for Roof Work"
I used it on both shingles and a metal roof, and it worked well overall. Compared to just trying to move around without it, I felt a lot more secure, especially on the shingles. The steeper wet spots on the metal roof still felt a little sketchy, but it definitely helped. I’d say it’s worth keeping around if you do roof work now and then.

"Felt Way Safer on a Steep Roof"
I used this on a steep roof it felt solid the whole time. I was expecting it to slide around a bit, but it stayed put and made moving around up there way less sketchy. Even went back through my order email to check the exact one I bought because it ended up being more useful than I expected. Simple product, but it helped a lot.

"Saved me a ton of time"
I picked up the Pitch Hopper to make roof work go a little faster, and it’s made a bigger difference than I expected. Getting around on steeper pitches used to be the part that slowed me down the most, but now you’re not constantly fighting for a good spot or feeling like every move takes extra effort.
It’s a simple tool, but it does what it’s supposed to do. I’m not stopping every few minutes to readjust or figure out my footing, and you can just keep moving and get the job done. Definitely wish I had bought one sooner.

"Not as portable as I hoped"
I bought this thinking it would be easy to carry around for quick little jobs, but it’s awkward to move and takes up more space than I expected. I also tried asking about options, but just got the usual “policy” excuse, which was frustrating. It works, but if portability is what you’re after, I wouldn’t really recommend it.

"Left a Few Scuffs"
It was okay overall, but it still scuffed my shingles a bit. I’m curious if anyone else had the same issue or if it worked better for them
"Ankles hurt after barely using them"
I tried these once for a short amount of time and my ankles were already hurting badly. I know the product description makes everything sound comfortable and well-designed, but my experience was nothing like that. Maybe they work for some people, but I definitely wouldn’t trust the polished claims based on how my ankles felt after just one use.

"Arrived Fine, Just Took a Bit"
It showed up in good shape, so no complaints there. The shipping was kind of slow for me, well, slower than I was expecting, anyway

"Takes a Minute, But It Works"
Pitch Hopper was useful once I finally got the hang of it, but it definitely wasn’t suuuuper easy for me at first. There’s a real learning curve, and I had to play around with it a few times before I felt comfortable using it. I do think the instructions could be a little clearer too. That said, once you figure it out, it pretty much does what it’s supposed to do. Not bad at all, just something you need a bit of patience for.

"It did actually help me get my…"
It did actually help me get my pitch done a little faster, which I definitely appreciated. I was kind of surprised by that at first, but then there were also moments where it felt a bit clunky and I had to stop and figure out what I was doing. So, yeah, it works and it has its upsides, but it’s not one of those things that instantly feels super smooth. Not bad at all, just not totally amazing either

"Fits Fine, Just a Little Awkward Sometimes"
The size worked fine for me overall, but it did get a little awkward when I was trying to use it in tighter spots. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed. Weirdly, I remember bumping my elbow on the same corner of the counter three times while messing with it, so maybe that made it stand out more.

"Really Too Slippery"
It was really too slippery for me. I didn’t feel very comfortable using it because it just didn’t have the grip I expected.

"Slow Support Response"
As someone who likes to get things sorted quickly, I found the support response frustrating. They did get back to me eventually, but it took longer than I expected.

"Helpful , but didn’t feel super secure"
I really wanted to like the Pitch Hopper , and it did help a little while I was up on the roof . But honestly , I never felt totally safe using it . There were a few moments where it still felt kind of sketchy , and I found myself worrying about slipping more than I expected . Maybe someone with more roofing experience would feel better with it , but for me , it just wasn’t as reassuring as I hoped . I’d use it carefully and definitely wouldn’t depend on it too much .

"Warranty handled fairly"
I had to send my Pitch Hopper back because one of the pads started peeling after just a few uses. I emailed them some pictures and my order info, and they got back to me within a couple days. They ended up honoring the warranty and sent out a replacement without making it a whole hassle. The return label did take a little longer than I wanted, which was a bit annoying, but it was handled fair overall.

"Works fine, but felt a little clunky"
I was kind of in a hurry when I used the site, and overall it wasn’t too hard to figure out. The pages loaded fine and the main steps were clear enough, so I wasn’t completely lost or anything. But a few parts felt a bit clunky, and I ended up clicking around more than I wanted to. Some of the labels could definitely be clearer. It gets the job done, but it wasn’t the smoothest experience for me

"Way easier to move than I expected"
I bought this from thepitchhopper and felt relieved after using it the first time. I was worried it might be bulky or annoying to drag around, but the lightweight design ended up being the best part. It’s easy to move where I need it, but still feels sturdy enough to trust. It just makes the job a little less frustrating, which is exactly what I was hoping for...

"I expected a bit more for the price"
For what I paid, I was hoping for something better. It wasn’t awful or anything, but to me it just didn’t feel like a great value. Maybe someone else wouldn’t mind it, but personally I’d probably shop around more before buying it again.
"Slipped once the roof got wet"
For some reason, once the roof got even a little wet, these started slipping around on me. They seemed fine at first, but I didn’t feel very secure after that
